Rob and Tama have been married for over ten years. Rob is a Technician and Tama is an Administrative Leader. They are a loving couple who wish to share their home with a child. Rob and Tama enjoy attending special events together, visiting with friends, traveling, and watching movies and television. They also enjoy attending church. Rob and Tama believe a birthparent's decision to place their child for adoption is both a loving and difficult decision to make.

gender from newborn to three years of age. They would consider a child of Caucasian/African-American, Hispanic, Asian, American Indian, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/Asian, or Caucasian/American Indian descent. Rob and Tama's references higly recommended them as adoptive parents. Their extended family is very supportive of their adoption plan.

Dear Birthmother,
|
We are thinking about you and praying for you and the child as you make these special plans. We think you have amazing courage and an incredible spirit, and wonder and hope that you have support and love in this decision. We believe God is making a “new” creation from all our circumstances, one in which we can rejoice.
The Bible verses and books that have guided us as we have made our way to you are from Ecclesiastes, Ruth, Mark, and the Psalms. In these we have been encouraged, strengthened, inspired, and guided in the journey to wait upon and serve the Lord with a joyful heart. In our waiting, we have found God preparing the way for our lives to be shared.

Adoption has always been a part of our hearts, a means of kindness and compassion. We have learned and will continue to learn about the unique ways in which adoption shapes a family and its encounters. As Christians, we believe God has created and then adopted each of us in unconditional love.
Because we believe in Jesus Christ, we know we live within him and will seek to model our family and its ways through this life. One special means we are excited about is the

church. In the church, we know we receive and give community that strengthens each of us.
One important characteristic of being a Christian is honesty. We will be open and honest with our children, telling them the amazing story of their birth and adoption. We will cherish our children and always seek to nurture our family as it grows and changes.

We are preparing daily to care for each detail of having a new young member of our family. Our families and friends are waiting to shower gifts of support, love, and resources to help provide a sure foundation for our new family. The child’s room is being prepared with warm colors, pictures of animals and nature, comfortable fabrics, books, toys, and supplies.
We are thinking about all the fun we will have together. We love being outside, enjoying games, and sharing treats and meals. We have a good time with family and friends dancing, watching movies, and playing at places like the beach, the mountains, museums, and parks. In the midst of all the fun, we create space for rest and quiet, too.

As the time comes for our new family to begin, we are very excited and a little nervous. We think about all God has given us to share in God’s Story, our life experience and all the new experiences to come. We are ready to give our best and look forward to footy pajamas, Saturday morning cartoons, Christmas, laughing, stories, prayers, singing, and all the many unexpected gifts of our Creator.
|
We want you to know that we will never forget that besides the love that we share with our children, our family, each member, will always know there is someone that loves our children just as much and gave life to them with God. We are reminded that God first gave Jesus to the world that we might learn to love and give, too. Thank you for your selfless gift and continued love and prayers. May the Peace of Christ uplift and encourage you now and always.
