Kenny and Tasha are a fun-loving couple. They are the proud parents of a son Richard Lee, who they adopted. Both Kenny and Tasha believe that the child’s well being is the most important issue in the adoption process. They have a special place in their heart for their son’s birth mom. “The sacrifice she made was out of love.” They will forever love her for allowing them to provide for Richard Lee when she knew she was not able to do so. They feel the same way about all birthparents who choose adoption.

They have been married for over 15 years. Their lifestyle is centered on their son, He is involved in cub scouts, basketball, baseball, and Kids Quest – where he learns Bible verses and keeps them in his heart. They love going to the beach to collect shells and they visit family whenever possible. Kenny’s mother lives close by and they see her on a daily basis.
Kenny and Tasha are approved to adopt a male or female child/twins/sibling group of two, ranging from newborn to four years of age, that is Caucasian; Biracial (African-American/White or Hispanic/White or American Indian/White); Hispanic; American Indian; Asian or an Asian mix.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Our names are Kenny, Tasha, and R.Lee (short for Richard Lee), our son. We are praying it is God’s will that we adopt a baby brother or sister for R.Lee, and another wonderful child for us.
We are a close family and our lives are filled with the joy of God, family and music. We enjoy many activities and sports but our favorite is spending quality time together, especially at the beach.

Tasha teaches music in the public school system. Her college degrees are a Bachelor in Music Therapy and Music Education. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher who has taught music for 18 years. She loves singing in their church choir, and has led children’s music ministries in the church. Her hobbies include music, writing children’s songs, reading, and any time or activity with R. Lee, especially reading with and reading to R. Lee.

Kenny spent 15 years in a small family business, while also serving in a volunteer fire department. He attained Fire Service Instructor status in 1996, and still teaches fire service courses every chance he gets. He served as Fire Training Officer for the local career fire department for 3 ½ years, before leaving to care for his mother after his father’s death in 2003. He is currently employed with a friend in commercial construction, and is pursuing future business interests. Kenny also studied music in college and plays trumpet and French horn in the church |

orchestra. Kenny’s hobbies include coaching R. Lee’s sports teams, volunteering in community/school related events, and golf. |

R. Lee was adopted in 2000 at birth, and is living proof that God answers prayer. We firmly believe he was chosen for us long before he was born, and was meant to be our son. R. Lee is now 6 ½ years old and in 1st grade. He excels in academics, especially math and science. He is an avid basketball player and also plays baseball. He enjoys playing scenes with his super heros, inventing and doing science experiments, watching Scooby Doo, and doing anything at the beach.

As adoptive parents, we admire the love and courage you are showing for your child’s future. We know you want a loving, safe home, two parents who have the time to spend helping him/her grow and achieve all that life has in store for him/her. We can nurture a child emotionally, and guide their spiritual and educational growth. We promise that you will always be with us in our prayers and thoughts as we thank God for the wonderful gift you have entrusted to us. Your child will always know the incredible love you have for him/her which enabled you to make this important decision.
