Adoption is a wonderful option. For the birthparents, adoption is a very loving choice; one in which no sacrifice is too great for the well-being of their child. While adoption is a separation between the birthmother and child, it is also a joining of love between the birthmother and child. A birthparent who chooses adoption as their child’s plan often makes this decision with much love and concern for the well-being of them both. Today birthparents have the choice to be more involved in the adoption planning. Often birthparents choose to make themselves available to the adopted child and adoptive family to be a source of love and encouragement throughout the child’s life. It is truly a loving choice. For the adoptee, adoption is being released from their original status and birthright and being granted the nature of the adopting family. The child can be raised with full knowledge of why the decision was made and how much love went into the decision. The adoptee often begins learning of their unique adoption story from the beginning. |

For prospective adoptive parents, adoption is bringing another into their home and loving them as they would their own and granting the child all rights as heir. New Life’s prospective adoptive parents are screened by an application and pre-placement/home study process. If you are interested in viewing some of New Life’s couples, visit our Waiting Families section.
Adoption is also the Biblical option for expectant parents who are not prepared to parent. We know that through our salvation we are adopted as Sons and Daughters of God. “He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will” (Ephesians 1:5).
